Youth of the Year

The Tulare Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for 2 Youths of the Year. The awards are scholarships given by the Rotary Club and the Kiwanis Clubs of Tulare, these will be presented at the Chamber's Annual Awards & Installation Banquet on Friday, January 24, 2025. The awards will be bestowed upon two high school seniors, who have demonstrated above average achievement in academics, community service, campus involvement, and leadership. Awardees will be given a $1000 scholarship each to go towards furthering their education after high school. Nominees must attend a school within the Tulare Joint Union High School District or reside in Tulare.

Youth will be selected based on:
· School Involvement
· Community Involvement
· Leadership
· Academic Achievement
· Innovation (creation of special projects, ideas, or services)
· Achievement Despite Obstacles
· Any other items of notable mention

To nominate a student, please complete the nomination form below. You may include up to three letters of recommendation as well as any documents that may support your nomination. The information you provide will be used by the Tulare Business and Education Council to determine the recipient of the award. Nominations may not be self submitted.

Nominations are due November 21, 2024.
